The Tour du Mont Blanc was easily one of the most memorable trips I’ve taken in years. From breathtaking views and warm, welcoming people to delicious food and charming mountain huts, every aspect of the journey was unforgettable. The hikes were significantly more challenging than I had anticipated, but the reward was well worth the effort. I can’t overstate how much smoother and more stress-free the experience was thanks to Hut to Hut’s incredibly detailed guides. Having accommodations pre-booked, access to a well-designed GPS trail map, and a comprehensive guide outlining what to expect, what to pack, and what to watch out for made all the difference. If you’re considering hiking the TMB, I wholeheartedly recommend booking with Hut to Hut. Their support turned a great adventure into an exceptional one.
Samo and Eva did a wonderful job in organizing my six-day Slovenian Mountain Trail hike. From the first contact to the delivery of the package with hike details, hut reservations, GPX etc. was efficient. I had a wonderful challenging hike as a solo self-guided hiker. Samo was supportive to the extent possible for my challenging day #4 from Aljazev Hut to Dolicu Hut in very bad weather. All arrangements worked perfectly. Highly recommend them if you want to take the difficulty out of the organization itself and simply enjoy the hiking expereince.
Incredibly route through the Karavank & Julien ranges. Huts were rustic & scenic and all check-ins were smooth. The route guides that Hut-to-Hut provided were extremely helpful, available offline & gave us peace of mind while traveling through new territory. Highly recommend.
Great Trip, Great Company! Nina and her team handled every detail flawlessly. We had originally planned to join a guided group tour, but choosing the flexibility of sleeping in and setting our own pace turned out to be the best decision—and the savings let us upgrade our hotels. The bag-transfer service was seamless from start to finish. I highly recommend them!
We did the five day/four night highlight tour and it was breathtaking! The Tours Du Mont Blanc team was very accommodating of our request for private rooms on the hike (when available) and also with last minute logistics due to the Mount Blanc tunnel closure. Samo and Nina were very responsive and answered all of our many questions :).
Our walk was brilliant. The maps provided made everything so simple and the accomodation was very good. Having everything organised and nothing to pay for made it so smooth. We were so lucky with the Weather. Only the last 1/2 day was wet. I’m looking forward to our next walk with hut to hut

Nina did a great job organising the Stubai Hohenweg for us. She was always helpful with our additional requests for hotels before and after the hiking, and kept us up to date with availability for the huts we wanted including the possibility of a change to a preferred hut even during our hike. Very impressed with the organisation and with the Stubai area for hiking generally.
Very professional and attentive. I did the 6 day slovian mountain trail. Had an amazing adventure which i will never forget. A little hiking experience is required and a good fitness level. Having no time to plan the trip myself, this was a perfect solution.
Hut-to-Hut set up our accommodations and routes to hike in the High Tatras of Slovakia. Everything went very smoothly. The app with the description for each day and the GPS trail guidance went perfectly. The packing list and links to weather and emergency sites were easily accessible.
A fantastic 10 day hike in Slovenia. The customer service could not have been better when we had to change our start date at short notice. Similarly when one of the passes was closed on the hiking trail the automatically organised a bus transfer to take us to the next point at no additional costs. Again when one of the hotels was ‘problematic’ and demanded we pay (despite this being booked through the company) they were on the phone in minutes and had forwarded through a refund within 24hrs. As for the hike - simply stunning!
Communications with Hut-to-hut personnel was pleasant, quick and helpful. The initial guidelines for preparing for the trip (what to bring and so on) was necessarily thorough for a first timer in the Alps. The description of each days' journey was helpful in preparing for planning your food and drinks. The gps app was good to check your whereabouts. I would have found an estimate for the duration of each journey beforehand helpful yet I understand that it can be difficult as we all fare differently. For a healthy female in her late 40's with moderate physical status (meaning 2-3 times of gym per week and brisk daily walking/bicycle instead of jogging or running) a trip of rating 3/5 in challenging was pretty rough yet doable. My 16yrs old son not doing much aerobic training adabted quickly to the needs of that trip. Just to give a reference if anyone is wondering what the ratings might mean to them. 😊 All in all so happy we did this and a big thank you for the Hut-to-hut crew!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Hut to Hut Hiking. They were exceedingly responsive, patiently answering my many emails' worth of questions about itineraries, schedules, logistics, and the like. They helped to create an absolutely perfect trek according to the limited time I had and they provided helpful information for me to organize travel to and from the start and end points. Hut to Hut's communication is professional, their website is useful, and the itinerary and GPS tracking information they sent me once I paid/booked was flawless. The trails were easy to follow, Ride with GPS worked perfectly, and I was so grateful to have relied on a company to facilitate my route in a country where I was unfamiliar. I'm used to planning my own routes, but Hut to Hut Hiking's expertise and insight made the entire experience infinitely more pleasant.
A fantastic 3 day self guided Hut to Hut hike around Triglav National Park in Slovenia. We experienced a full range of weather which made it an unforgettable trip. The organisation and back up support with GPS maps etc was excellent. Hut staff were friendly and very happy to give advice and suggestions on the routes and directions. Would recommend.
We had a lovely hike today with our guide Klemen. He personalized the tour on our needs and interests, so that we saw places we wouldn't without his experience. The hike was a little bit slippery after the rain from the last days and it went a lot upwards, but it was totally worth it! Thanks again :)
Tina and her team gave me perfect support on my hut hike through the Triglav National Park in July. In particular, they had to cater to my specific needs twice, which they did for me with no problem. I once had to cancel at short notice before the start of the trip because my father was not feeling well, but then we found a solution and I was able to start the hike. Tina and team first canceled the huts immediately and then reserved them again for me. Even when my condition caused a little tour change again, I immediately had suggestions and these were immediately available in the Trip plans app. I liked this app very much because it was easy to handle and the huttohut-team gave a short overview how the daily tour will be and which highlights – mostly beautiful views – I will see“

Daja Gorišek was the travel agent from here who meticulously organised the trek all the way from Meiringen to Lenk im Simmental. She took care of all the details -- from planning the actual trek route, the detailed GPS map for each stage, to the hotels. The actual experience was entirely consistent with what was promised.
Hut to Hut took care of all the details and we felt secure and pampered. The hotel accommodation was excellent on all counts throughout the tour and the private drivers were friendly, informative and easy going. The company was flexible when we changed the plans due to rain and we appreciated that very much. We certainly recommend Hut to Hut tours.
Hut to Hut was a wonderful company to work with. I didn't have time to plan my own route and book the huts so it was a relief to have someone else do this. I chose the self-guided tour. I live and hike in the Rocky Mountains and the trails in the Julian Alps were well marked and the GPS track from Hut to Hut was easy to use and know exactly where I was. There was a rain warning one day and Hut to Hut was quick to respond and provide alternate routes if I desired, and more information about the weather. The mountain huts they booked were me were spectacular. One airbnb in Trenta was, unexpectedly, a few miles extra walk after a long day but Hut to Hut called the airbnb owner and arranged for me to be picked up in town which my feet and I were very grateful for. I would definitely use them again and will recommend them highly to anyone considering this amazing and beautiful trip!
Xavi was a great guide. He had the right mix of driving you on and making sure you were ok. While I decided not to do Mont Blanc after Gran Parridiso, we were able to move to Saas Fee and do a number of 4000 peaks there. It was a great and rewarding trip.
My son and I did a five days hike in the beautiful Julian alps. The organization was excellent. They took care of everything - transportation, lodging etc. The guide book and maps were accurate and easy to follow. It was a memorable experience. Thank you!!

This is the second time we've used Hut to Hut for a hiking trip (the other was in Slovenia) and they again provided great service, booked excellent stays along the trail and were available for any questions I had during the trip. The hike was beautiful, the accommodations great. A really wonderful trip. I'd highly recommend Hut to Hut if you are thinking about a hiking trip in Europe.
Once in a lifetime experience. Hut to Hut hiking Dolomites was a great choice to help us plan our trip. The app, support leading up to the trip, and thorough instructions and recommendations provided prior to the trip made planning as easy as possible. We chose the three day, two night seiser alm highlights and it was the perfect amount of time for us. The daily effort was strenuous (about 10 miles give or take each day, steady and challenging ascension), but enjoyable for two avid hikers like us. The site said a fitness level of 2 or 3 out of 5, but it felt like closer to a 4 in some stretches. The hotels/huts we stayed in were fantastic. The rooms, staff, and amenities were excellent and added to our wonderful immersion in this beautiful area of the world. We will definitely use hut to hut hiking Dolomites again, should we have the opportunity to explore the area in the future.
We had a wonderful experience doing the 4 day panoramic hike. The agency was super helpful and responsive. The map/gps and information was incredibly detailed. The places the agency booked for us to stay at night were a great mix of nice and new and authentic and rustic.
We booked the Triglav Panorama hut to hut tour only a week in advance and had the best experience. It was booked so quickly at short notice and was very well organised. Everything worked smoothly with the mountain huts and the team was so responsive to any questions. Would definitely recommend, especially for a first self-guided hut to hut experience - it was very reassuring to have the team’s expertise and guidance!
My husband and I did the three day (Seven Lakes Hike). We are both 55+ and found it to be an amazing challenge & experience for us. Jan was our guide and was so knowledgeable and supportive. He assesses you on the first day and Decides what you are capable of and really gives you a great experience that meets your level of skill in hiking. He is very flexible, but at the same time will push you to your limit if you want that. It’s not the distance that was the challenge. It’s more about the elevation, Step height and uneven path under foot. Also part of the charm, because it is not so Well trodden , as other hikes. The countryside is absolutely stunning. The people you meet along the way are all mostly young and positive. It is quite popular so expect to share dorms with other people, He arranged on the second night for us to have our own room, which was really nice . Showers were not available, A positive flexible mindset is required But this is part of the charm of it all. We went in a group and had one other person with us. We would team “Matilda”.. Great bonding experience And one of the most physically difficult things we’ve done together as a couple.

Booked a 5 day hut-to-hut self guided tour through this company and would absolutely do it again through them. Had an amazing 5 days with peace of mind knowing all reservations were good to go and we had a solid itinerary planned out. Communication from the beginning was amazing, always got back very promptly and answered all questions. Everyone we worked with through this company were so nice and super helpful. Cannot recommend enough for your travel needs in Slovenia.
It was great! TMB is spectacular. For sure, I was challenged to my senior capacity--but I was so glad to have done it I(with my daughter, who took the hard routes, when I opted for some shortcuts)--and would love to do it again! The company delivered as promised. They were very responsive with some last minute changes while on the route, including a rescheduled pick up and alternative routes on some days, including a ladderless one for me on the next to last day. An agent was available by phone on weekends. My bag was safely and efficiently transported from Les Houches, to all the huts in between, and then to our hotel in Chamonix. The scenery was wonderful.
The experience of this week in the Italian and French Alps has been spectacular. We have ascended Gran Paradiso and Mont Blanc. Everything was splendidly organized by Anja. I have a very positive opinion of the guides (Davide, Marco), the organization, and the group we formed. The weather was on our side. This is the only thing that cannot be predicted, but when I chose "Climb Mont Blanc" to ascend to the roof of the Alps, I did not make a mistake. It has been an unforgettable week. Hut to Hut Dolomites is AMAZING. Booking from afar (USA) is always stressful but they took care of everything. We actually didn't stay in a hut but rather in hotels that they arranged. Everything was perfect. Nice hikes planned. Great accomodations. Nice recommendations on local options, etc. Really felt like we could just show up and have fun. Plus everyone there is so friendly and easy to work with. Truly makes a difference.
We give Hut-to-Hut our highest recommendation! They organized a fantastic and perfectly challenging hike for us in the beautiful Brenta Dolomites in Italy. From start to finish, communication with the agency was smooth, quick, and helpful. Any questions or special requests we had were handled promptly. We hiked independently using the GPS app they provided, which was super easy to use and made navigation stress-free. Each night, we stayed in charming refugios or hotels - complete with three delicious meals, refreshing little lakes to swim in, and plenty of peaceful spots to recharge before the next day’s adventure. A memorable and well-organized experience!
My group of 3 had a blast on the Tour du Mont Blanc which were booked with this group. They had very helpful trip handouts and daily maps which were easy to follow. They also addressed our questions very well and were attentive. I would recommend to anyone else who's considering doing the TMB.
Solid experience booking Haute Route through H2H Hiking. They were responsive whenever I ran into small hiccups during the trip and were able to resolve the issue very quickly. Provided great recommendations and daily briefs for each day's hike. Definitely recommend H2H Switzerland.
We had a great experience with hut to hut hiking Slovenia on our recent Slovenian mountain highlights hike. Directions paired with the GPS track were very helpful, the hike was wonderful and the views breathtaking. The information provided was a life-saver (especially for those days when no huts were on the way to restock the energy).
We used Hut to Hut Slovenia to organise our 6-day hike in the Karawanke and the Julian Alps. They took the stress out of the booking process as none of the huts have websites and bookings must be made over the phone - coming from Australia, that would have been difficult.

We had an incredible experience booking our Dolomites hiking adventure through Hut-To-Hut Hiking Dolomites (one of the many companies operated through World Discovery). Traveling all the way from Hawai‘i, we were initially a bit hesitant about booking with a company based in Slovenia, but everything was flawless. Even factoring in the 12 hour time difference between Hawai'i and Europe, their communication was fast and professional. The planning materials were thorough and incredibly helpful including detailed daily hiking routes, suggested scenic stops and snack breaks at rifugios along the way, an app with offline downloadable maps customized to our routes, and clear hiking and safety guides. Every rifugio they booked for us was fantastic: clean, welcoming, well-located, and full of charm. They booked us at a 5-star hotel for the last night and the spa treatments were heavenly after days of hiking. The post-hike airport transportation was seamless, and we were especially grateful to have their help booking so close to peak summer season. There’s no way we could have secured such great rifugios on our own, each one they chose was a highlight. We felt fully supported throughout the trip, even though it was self-guided. They provide a 24/7 Whatsapp number which was nice to have in case of emergencies. We highly recommend Hut-To-Hut Hiking Dolomites for anyone looking to hike the Dolomites without the stress of figuring out all the logistics yourself. Would book with them again in a heartbeat.
We had the most wonderful and memorable experience we could have asked for and it is mostly because of hut to hut and their wonderful staff! I really felt that they were exceptionally thorough in making our excursion easy and comfortable the entire time, answering our many questions and providing us with all the information we needed. Walking the GR10 was an incredible way to experience the Pyrenees. Each day brought something different—lush valleys, high mountain passes, and charming villages. The Kesch Trek in Switzerland was everything I hoped for and more. The trails were well-marked and took me through breathtaking alpine scenery, from wildflower meadows to towering glaciers. My High Tatras hike was a wonderful balance of challenge and beauty. The dramatic peaks and sparkling mountain lakes were a constant highlight. Hiking through Aurlandsdalen was like walking into a fairytale. The valley is filled with lush greenery, cascading waterfalls, and serene rivers. Our 3 day hike had to be rearranged 2/2 weather, so a one day hike was arranged for us. We appreciated the concern about weather and conditions. Our hike was with Matevz, who was a great guide. Very helpful and knowledgable. Would definitely recommend and will be back for a longer hike one day!
Carros de Foc is a magical adventure with a little bit of spice for all trekkers: the vibe of the huts, the serene Lakes, the challenging trails, the occasional scrambles, options for extra peaks to climb, and a chance to serendipitously travel with strangers on the same loop. HUT TO HUT were great facilitators and accommodators to our needs and I would use them again for a memorable experience in the wilderness. I would recommend that a CDFmap be provided at the earliest stage so that trekkers can be better prepared.
I had the privilege of experiencing the hut-to-hut hike in Slovenia. It was my first visit to the country. Slovenia holds immense natural beauty with super clean lakes like Bled and Bohinj where you can safely swim and enjoy the mountains all around. The hut-to-hut hike was very well organized by the group, and they were very responsive to all questions. They provided access to a trip organizer and GPS app which was super accurate. Language was not even an after thought, everyone in Slovenia speaks excellent English, and the locals are among some of the most friendly Europeans I have come across. I definitely plan to go back with family again, and highly recommend the experience.

We had just an amazing trip! Overall, organisation worked smoothly throughout, great hotels and hikes and almost no hassle. The trip plans and ride with GPS app were detailed and adequate and easy to follow. Some hikes were on the edge of what we could manage but the info on alternatives made it easy to choose alternative options. It wasn't easy to find info on route conditions though, including that the trail between Griesalp and Kandersteg was "officially closed" .
Beautiful guided route for our 3-day hut to hut. It included a variety of geography and landscapes and it challenged us in a good way. The organization and information we received from the company both before booking and during our trek was accurate and helpful. Our accommodations were as expected and they were comfortable enough and very welcoming. This was a wonderful way to be in the mountains and really experience them.
If I could give 100 stars, I would. I don't know if you're a big company or just two or three people behind this, but thank you for such an amazing experience. It was a beautiful adventure. The trails were perfect, each day different from the rest, and a natural beauty that I have seldom seen elsewhere. I had no experience in the world of hiking, and now I can't wait to do the next one! (hopefully next time organised by myself 😂). I had one of the best weeks of my whole life. Thank you a million guys.
Anja and the team at Hut to Hut Hiking designed a terrific 6 day Dolomites himimg adventure for the three of us. The route was breathtaking and balanced, despite our booking very late (June for July), and everything went smoothly, including our luggage transfer. The Rifugios surpassed our expectations and the meals were all amazing. I doubt we could have got a better price if we had booked it ourselves, and we’d have had more hassle and a worse outcome, for sure. Thank you, and I hope to partner with you again 🙏
The route over the Triglav had to be changed due to snow. Our guide Jan and also Luka for the summit ascent were prudent, helpful, showed the way, removed poles and luggage where necessary and made sure that we came back safe and sound. He knew the plants. In the huts, he organized the food and we played cards. The shuttle to the start and from the finish was also excellent.
This three day hike was breath takingly beautiful! Diverse and stunning landscapes, with Klemens expert knowledge of the land, its history and culture blew me away :) I was a little apprehensive about my first solo trip, but from the first second was made to feel welcome and at ease. TOTALLY recommend, Thank you Klemen & Hut to Hut! Unforgettable experience :)
We had the most amazing experience hiking the Via Alpina Bear Trek organized by Daja!! It’s always nerve wrecking trusting an organization to plan and prepare all parts of a trip like this but it worked out perfectly and we had no issues. The hiking, the hotels & recommendations, and the service by Daja and the Hut to Hut Hiking team was great from the booking to actual travel experience! Would highly recommended, looking forward to planning more trips with them in the future.
I can’t say enough of how wonderful this company is, we had a customized tour including multiple activities, we had to change the itinerary due to quick changing weather, Klemen took great care of the group, very professional and very caring about the group, I would recommend him and his company.
A perfect hike for a family! It is not too easy but quite manageable with all the huts on the way so you really don't have to carry too much with you and on the third day, you can make a great rest by the beautiful river. We had a great guide who showed us around and took care of all the organization around the accommodation and food. The communication with the team before the tour was spot on and we have really enjoyed the hike worry-free. We have seen a great portion of the region and after the tour we simply chilled in Bled.

Nina did a great job organising the Stubai Hohenweg for us. She was always helpful with our additional requests for hotels before and after the hiking, and kept us up to date with availability for the huts we wanted including the possibility of a change to a preferred hut even during our hike. Very impressed with the organisation and with the Stubai area for hiking generally.
Very professional and attentive. I did the 6 day slovian mountain trail. Had an amazing adventure which i will never forget. A little hiking experience is required and a good fitness level. Having no time to plan the trip myself, this was a perfect solution.
A fantastic 10 day hike in Slovenia. The customer service could not have been better when we had to change our start date at short notice. Similarly when one of the passes was closed on the hiking trail the automatically organised a bus transfer to take us to the next point at no additional costs. Again when one of the hotels was ‘problematic’ and demanded we pay (despite this being booked through the company) they were on the phone in minutes and had forwarded through a refund within 24hrs. As for the hike - simply stunning!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Hut to Hut Hiking. They were exceedingly responsive, patiently answering my many emails' worth of questions about itineraries, schedules, logistics, and the like. They helped to create an absolutely perfect trek according to the limited time I had and they provided helpful information for me to organize travel to and from the start and end points. Hut to Hut was a wonderful company to work with. I didn't have time to plan my own route and book the huts so it was a relief to have someone else do this. I chose the self-guided tour. I live and hike in the Rocky Mountains and the trails in the Julian Alps were well marked and the GPS track from Hut to Hut was easy to use and know exactly where I was. There was a rain warning one day and Hut to Hut was quick to respond and provide alternate routes if I desired, and more information about the weather. The mountain huts they booked were me were spectacular. One airbnb in Trenta was, unexpectedly, a few miles extra walk after a long day but Hut to Hut called the airbnb owner and arranged for me to be picked up in town which my feet and I were very grateful for. I would definitely use them again and will recommend them highly to anyone considering this amazing and beautiful trip!

This is the second time we've used Hut to Hut for a hiking trip (the other was in Slovenia) and they again provided great service, booked excellent stays along the trail and were available for any questions I had during the trip. The hike was beautiful, the accommodations great. A really wonderful trip. I'd highly recommend Hut to Hut if you are thinking about a hiking trip in Europe.
We had a wonderful experience doing the 4 day panoramic hike. The agency was super helpful and responsive. The map/gps and information was incredibly detailed. The places the agency booked for us to stay at night were a great mix of nice and new and authentic and rustic.
My husband and I did the three day (Seven Lakes Hike). We are both 55+ and found it to be an amazing challenge & experience for us. Jan was our guide and was so knowledgeable and supportive. He assesses you on the first day and Decides what you are capable of and really gives you a great experience that meets your level of skill in hiking. He is very flexible, but at the same time will push you to your limit if you want that. It’s not the distance that was the challenge. It’s more about the elevation, Step height and uneven path under foot. Also part of the charm, because it is not so Well trodden , as other hikes. The countryside is absolutely stunning. The people you meet along the way are all mostly young and positive. It is quite popular so expect to share dorms with other people, He arranged on the second night for us to have our own room, which was really nice . Showers were not available, A positive flexible mindset is required But this is part of the charm of it all. We went in a group and had one other person with us. We would team “Matilda”.. Great bonding experience And one of the most physically difficult things we’ve done together as a couple.
It was great! TMB is spectacular. For sure, I was challenged to my senior capacity--but I was so glad to have done it I(with my daughter, who took the hard routes, when I opted for some shortcuts)--and would love to do it again! The company delivered as promised. They were very responsive with some last minute changes while on the route, including a rescheduled pick up and alternative routes on some days, including a ladderless one for me on the next to last day. An agent was available by phone on weekends. My bag was safely and efficiently transported from Les Houches, to all the huts in between, and then to our hotel in Chamonix. The scenery was wonderful.
The experience of this week in the Italian and French Alps has been spectacular. We have ascended Gran Paradiso and Mont Blanc. Everything was splendidly organized by Anja. I have a very positive opinion of the guides (Davide, Marco), the organization, and the group we formed. The weather was on our side. This is the only thing that cannot be predicted, but when I chose "Climb Mont Blanc" to ascend to the roof of the Alps, I did not make a mistake. It has been an unforgettable week. My group of 3 had a blast on the Tour du Mont Blanc which were booked with this group. They had very helpful trip handouts and daily maps which were easy to follow. They also addressed our questions very well and were attentive. I would recommend to anyone else who's considering doing the TMB.
We used Hut to Hut Slovenia to organise our 6-day hike in the Karawanke and the Julian Alps. They took the stress out of the booking process as none of the huts have websites and bookings must be made over the phone - coming from Australia, that would have been difficult.
We were really glad to have booked a self-guided tour through Hut to Hut. It was a very easy process, the maps, trip notes and the responsiveness of the team was excellent. Highly recommended! We have never done anything like this before and felt safe the whole time!

The Kesch Trek in Switzerland was everything I hoped for and more. The trails were well-marked and took me through breathtaking alpine scenery, from wildflower meadows to towering glaciers. Hiking through Aurlandsdalen was like walking into a fairytale. The valley is filled with lush greenery, cascading waterfalls, and serene rivers. I could not recommend Hut to Hut enough. I am a young, solo female traveller and Hut to Hut made the whole experience so easy and comfortable. The instructions, guide and all provided applications are very straightforward and easy to follow, and if there are any issues their customer service is amazing. And the price is incredibly reasonable with my hike including accomodation and some food.
Our 3 day hike had to be rearranged 2/2 weather, so a one day hike was arranged for us. We appreciated the concern about weather and conditions. Our hike was with Matevz, who was a great guide. Very helpful and knowledgable. Would definitely recommend and will be back for a longer hike one day!
Carros de Foc is a magical adventure with a little bit of spice for all trekkers: the vibe of the huts, the serene Lakes, the challenging trails, the occasional scrambles, options for extra peaks to climb, and a chance to serendipitously travel with strangers on the same loop. HUT TO HUT were great facilitators and accommodators to our needs and I would use them again for a memorable experience in the wilderness. I would recommend that a CDFmap be provided at the earliest stage so that trekkers can be better prepared.

We had just an amazing trip! Overall, organisation worked smoothly throughout, great hotels and hikes and almost no hassle. The trip plans and ride with GPS app were detailed and adequate and easy to follow. Some hikes were on the edge of what we could manage but the info on alternatives made it easy to choose alternative options. It wasn't easy to find info on route conditions though, including that the trail between Griesalp and Kandersteg was "officially closed" .
Anja and the team at Hut to Hut Hiking designed a terrific 6 day Dolomites himimg adventure for the three of us. The route was breathtaking and balanced, despite our booking very late (June for July), and everything went smoothly, including our luggage transfer. The Rifugios surpassed our expectations and the meals were all amazing. I doubt we could have got a better price if we had booked it ourselves, and we’d have had more hassle and a worse outcome, for sure. Thank you, and I hope to partner with you again 🙏
The route over the Triglav had to be changed due to snow. Our guide Jan and also Luka for the summit ascent were prudent, helpful, showed the way, removed poles and luggage where necessary and made sure that we came back safe and sound. He knew the plants. In the huts, he organized the food and we played cards. The shuttle to the start and from the finish was also excellent.
We had the most amazing experience hiking the Via Alpina Bear Trek organized by Daja!! It’s always nerve wrecking trusting an organization to plan and prepare all parts of a trip like this but it worked out perfectly and we had no issues. The hiking, the hotels & recommendations, and the service by Daja and the Hut to Hut Hiking team was great from the booking to actual travel experience! Would highly recommended, looking forward to planning more trips with them in the future.
A perfect hike for a family! It is not too easy but quite manageable with all the huts on the way so you really don't have to carry too much with you and on the third day, you can make a great rest by the beautiful river. We had a great guide who showed us around and took care of all the organization around the accommodation and food. The communication with the team before the tour was spot on and we have really enjoyed the hike worry-free. We have seen a great portion of the region and after the tour we simply chilled in Bled.

Incredibly route through the Karavank & Julien ranges. Huts were rustic & scenic and all check-ins were smooth. The route guides that Hut-to-Hut provided were extremely helpful, available offline & gave us peace of mind while traveling through new territory. Highly recommend.
We did the five day/four night highlight tour and it was breathtaking! The Tours Du Mont Blanc team was very accommodating of our request for private rooms on the hike (when available) and also with last minute logistics due to the Mount Blanc tunnel closure. Samo and Nina were very responsive and answered all of our many questions :).

Hut-to-Hut set up our accommodations and routes to hike in the High Tatras of Slovakia. Everything went very smoothly. The app with the description for each day and the GPS trail guidance went perfectly. The packing list and links to weather and emergency sites were easily accessible.
Communications with Hut-to-hut personnel was pleasant, quick and helpful. The initial guidelines for preparing for the trip (what to bring and so on) was necessarily thorough for a first timer in the Alps. The description of each days' journey was helpful in preparing for planning your food and drinks. The gps app was good to check your whereabouts. I would have found an estimate for the duration of each journey beforehand helpful yet I understand that it can be difficult as we all fare differently. For a healthy female in her late 40's with moderate physical status (meaning 2-3 times of gym per week and brisk daily walking/bicycle instead of jogging or running) a trip of rating 3/5 in challenging was pretty rough yet doable. My 16yrs old son not doing much aerobic training adabted quickly to the needs of that trip. Just to give a reference if anyone is wondering what the ratings might mean to them. 😊 All in all so happy we did this and a big thank you for the Hut-to-hut crew!
A fantastic 3 day self guided Hut to Hut hike around Triglav National Park in Slovenia. We experienced a full range of weather which made it an unforgettable trip. The organisation and back up support with GPS maps etc was excellent. Hut staff were friendly and very happy to give advice and suggestions on the routes and directions. Would recommend.
Tina and her team gave me perfect support on my hut hike through the Triglav National Park in July. In particular, they had to cater to my specific needs twice, which they did for me with no problem. I once had to cancel at short notice before the start of the trip because my father was not feeling well, but then we found a solution and I was able to start the hike. Tina and team first canceled the huts immediately and then reserved them again for me. Even when my condition caused a little tour change again, I immediately had suggestions and these were immediately available in the Trip plans app. I liked this app very much because it was easy to handle and the huttohut-team gave a short overview how the daily tour will be and which highlights – mostly beautiful views – I will see“
Daja Gorišek was the travel agent from here who meticulously organised the trek all the way from Meiringen to Lenk im Simmental. She took care of all the details -- from planning the actual trek route, the detailed GPS map for each stage, to the hotels. The actual experience was entirely consistent with what was promised.
Xavi was a great guide. He had the right mix of driving you on and making sure you were ok. While I decided not to do Mont Blanc after Gran Parridiso, we were able to move to Saas Fee and do a number of 4000 peaks there. It was a great and rewarding trip.

Once in a lifetime experience. Hut to Hut hiking Dolomites was a great choice to help us plan our trip. The app, support leading up to the trip, and thorough instructions and recommendations provided prior to the trip made planning as easy as possible. We chose the three day, two night seiser alm highlights and it was the perfect amount of time for us. The daily effort was strenuous (about 10 miles give or take each day, steady and challenging ascension), but enjoyable for two avid hikers like us. The site said a fitness level of 2 or 3 out of 5, but it felt like closer to a 4 in some stretches. The hotels/huts we stayed in were fantastic. The rooms, staff, and amenities were excellent and added to our wonderful immersion in this beautiful area of the world. We will definitely use hut to hut hiking Dolomites again, should we have the opportunity to explore the area in the future.

We had an incredible experience booking our Dolomites hiking adventure through Hut-To-Hut Hiking Dolomites (one of the many companies operated through World Discovery). Traveling all the way from Hawai‘i, we were initially a bit hesitant about booking with a company based in Slovenia, but everything was flawless. Even factoring in the 12 hour time difference between Hawai'i and Europe, their communication was fast and professional. The planning materials were thorough and incredibly helpful including detailed daily hiking routes, suggested scenic stops and snack breaks at rifugios along the way, an app with offline downloadable maps customized to our routes, and clear hiking and safety guides. Every rifugio they booked for us was fantastic: clean, welcoming, well-located, and full of charm. They booked us at a 5-star hotel for the last night and the spa treatments were heavenly after days of hiking. Walking the GR10 was an incredible way to experience the Pyrenees. Each day brought something different—lush valleys, high mountain passes, and charming villages. The GR20 was the most challenging hike I’ve ever done, but also the most rewarding. The rugged ridgelines, dramatic peaks, and incredible Corsican sunsets made every tough climb worth it. I had the privilege of experiencing the hut-to-hut hike in Slovenia. It was my first visit to the country. Slovenia holds immense natural beauty with super clean lakes like Bled and Bohinj where you can safely swim and enjoy the mountains all around. The hut-to-hut hike was very well organized by the group, and they were very responsive to all questions. They provided access to a trip organizer and GPS app which was super accurate. Language was not even an after thought, everyone in Slovenia speaks excellent English, and the locals are among some of the most friendly Europeans I have come across. I definitely plan to go back with family again, and highly recommend the experience.
Beautiful guided route for our 3-day hut to hut. It included a variety of geography and landscapes and it challenged us in a good way. The organization and information we received from the company both before booking and during our trek was accurate and helpful. Our accommodations were as expected and they were comfortable enough and very welcoming. This was a wonderful way to be in the mountains and really experience them.
